Ray Bradbury's The Martian Chronicles is a classic of world science fiction, assembled from separate stories into a single chronicle of the colonisation of Mars. Earth dies in a nuclear war, people flee to the red planet — and bring their own fears, nostalgia and capacity for destruction with them.

Key highlights:

• A landmark collection by one of the twentieth century's most influential SF writers
• Poetic prose in which science fiction borders on parable
• Colonisation, ecological collapse and the price of human ambition
• Ukrainian-language edition
